Does anyone know who was James Gleason's stunt double for the skating scene? The style is very reminiscent of Mr. Frick of the Ice Follies but it isn't mentioned in any of his biographies.

I'm sorry that I can't answer your question. But, after watching it again today, for the 50th time, I have a similar question: who skated for Loretta Young and Cary Grant. The faces of the skaters in the long shots were so fuzzy it wasn't possible to identify the people. Cary Grant was always athletic and it's possible he did his own skating. The close ups only showed the actors in head shots with a revolving background. I remember Frick and Frack from the Ice Capades - it's possible one of them did Mr. Gleason's skating.
