Have you ever noticed...

how many movies end in the word "wife", like The Astronaut's Wife, The Aviator's Wife, The Preacher's Wife, The Butcher's Wife, and obviously the Bishop's Wife. I'm sure there are more, but that's all i can think of at the moment. I just thought that was kind of interesting.

Well, The Preacher's Wife was so named because it was a remake of this movie. Not a bad remake, but it didn't come up to this one.

Never saw the remake, but I watched this for the first time today, and I LOVED it. Grant is the best!!

Trust me,

"Craig's Wife" (1936 starring Rosalind Russell) is another 'Wife' movie example - It was then remade as 'Harriet Craig' in 1950 (starring Joan Crawford).

And, I loved this film...

‘Six inches is perfectly adequate; more is vulgar!' (Prime of Miss Jean Brodie Re: An open window).
