The mad scientist

The mad scientist presented in this classic cartoon is, of course, a spoof of Peter Lorre's Dr. Gogol in "Mad Love". But IMdB does not credit anyone for who did his voice for the cartoon. Is it possible that it was Peter Lorre himself who did the voice?

reply

It was Mel Blanc.

reply

Darn. I was sure it was Peter Lorre. How on earth did Mel Blanc manage to imitate his voice?

I know it's late to say it but I'm pretty sure it was Stan Freberg

reply

Freberg would have been 20 or under if he supplied the "Peter Lorre" voice. I'm sure Mel Blanc was "Lorre."
