Night club dinner scene

That one scene should be studied as a perfect lesson in comic timing. It had me laughing so hard I had to replay several parts over.

My favorite part: when the band kept erupting in a rousing rendition of "Happy Birthday" every couple minutes as the mood at the table kept deteriorating into bedlam.

For me, it was at the very end of the scene, when Cary Grant is sitting in the ruins of the mayhem, and the waiter comes by and asks if there's anything else he can bring him, and Cary with impeccable timing replies, "For instance...?"

I couldn't stop laughing...and it takes a lot to get me to laugh out loud.

Yes, that was the crown to one of the all-time king of comedy scenes.

Absolutely amazing. Don't you wonder how many takes it took or how much editing was done to the scene? It is comic perfection. Mister, you have my chair!
