Isn't this a comedy?

Maybe it's the mood I'm in but I think there is very conscious comedy and comic attitude apparent here not referenced in the critic/user reviews. Please check this out and get back to me.
Cezanne the Bathers is self consciously referenced and I think Robert Altman might have seen this prior to Dr T and the Women.
Whatever it is comedy,drama melodrama,darkest it is a meditation on art...popular vs. Tradition,in Gdividual vs institutional. You get the idea. Maybe it's just guys dig seeing naked chicks, knowwhatimean?
