Robert Mitchum must have heaved...

after saying those god awful lines at the end of the movie to Hepburn. Mitchum was defintely miscast. He was mysterious, appealing and sensitive but NOT in a peom reading way. He really was a reader, a closet intelectual but just not the Michael character.
