More than a few lines from Orson in this go a long way. Looked good with the beard/etc.

The endless sappy wailing on the soundtrack is grating to be sure, but removing it would only be the first step towards redeeming this limp, bland chick flick. Welles is always a compelling presence, even with he's chewing the scenery with the kind of gusto he does here; there's a man strictly for grand gestures.

Love this movie, but I've never been a fan of Steiner's overdone, schmaltzy scores.
