I Missed Some of this - help!

I caught some of this movie this morning while getting ready for work, and I wish I had been able to watch the whole thing straight through! What I saw was really good, and Olivia is just stunning!

I have a couple of questions, though. Corinne, Mary Anderson's character, was pregnant in the earlier part of the movie. I missed a bit of it, and then later, she and her husband had adopted Griggsy. Did she lose the baby? Or was she not pregnant to begin with?

Also, I assume from the boards that her son realized she was his mother, at the end. Can anyone give me a brief synopsis?

You can now watch the entire film in eight segments on YouTube. The film quality is good too.

I see that your posting is from almost two years ago, but I'm wondering where you found a DVD of "To Each His Own"? Unless, it's an import, I have yet to see anything of it on DVD in the U.S.

It was explained that her baby died at birth and they handed her Griggsie and she found new meaning and lived for that baby. When Olivia De Havilland shows up at the house she thought they would just hand her over the baby. The doctor brings her into the room and says something to the effect; "I thought this woman was at death's door, but look at her". and her husband walks in and she says 'Look at this baby". Olivia DeHavilland knew right then that she lost any chance to get her own baby back and she walked out of the room, out of the house and THEN became friends of the family on purpose.

I thought she was already friends with Griggsie, in fact, I thought he was the one mooing over De Havilland at the beginning of the movie.
