Does anybody knows where this film can be obtained with English subtitles?
shareThe film was shown with English subtitles at the Cameo Cinemas in Edinburgh as part of their 60th birthday weekend (it was the first film ever screened there) last month. As far as I am aware the cinema's projectionist had to go to London to obtain the copy from the British Film Institute's archive personally. I know this isn't much help, but it gives you an idea of how difficult it is to get a copy, because it's very fragile now.

Hmm, here in L.A., there are some specialty shops that may still have a copy to rent (on VIDEO!), don't know about DVD/streaming/downloading though, but I'm right with you there on looking...
