Fuehrer fury

Hitler would never have approved of any Nazi who was a dog-poisoner!

reply

Ranger, did you happen to know that he poisoned his own dog? Had to make sure the cyanide would work.

reply

I would like to confirm that Hitler did order the strength of poison capsules to be tested on his German shepherd, Blondi. He probably did love her and is said to be inconsolable afterwards. Some say that Hitler used Blondi and some of his other dogs as propaganda so that the public would warm to him as a dog lover. I have a feeling that he did love Blondi and that he destroyed many things that he loved. According to some sources, after her death Blondi's pups were taken out into the bunker yard and shot. Hitler took those that he loved closely with him, at his death.

I suspect OP was being sarcastic.

reply

How appropriate that Hitler named his dog Blondi.

Dog names he rejected:

Mutt
Jeff
Darkie
Oven Dodger

reply

I don't think so. The only other dog of his I've heard of is Prinz (perhaps German for Prince).

reply

Probably right. Most high-ranking Nazi's just poisoned their own children then themselves *cough* Goebbels *cough*
