PAL vhs Tape Versions

I am looking into getting a Multi-Region VCR that will play PAL and NTSC tapes, and I was looking to get a legitament copy of South of the South from overseas and I was wondering what is the best copy available over there? Mind you I was only 2 at the time when it was re-released into theaters in 1986 and the only times I have actually seen this movie was from the shows or movies that uses clips or pieces of the movie..

Do you have a laserdisc player? If so, the Japanese laserdisc release is the way to go. Sure, it's very expensive, and there are unremovable Japanese subtitles during the songs, but of the handful of official home video versions that were released overseas, it's the most desirable one to have. Plus, it plays the movie in its proper speed. The PAL VHS tapes, and the Hong Kong laserdisc are sped-up by 4%.
