Somewhere in the Night - Josephine Hutchinson - Sensitive Woman Role

Movie girl: I can still remember this wonderful film noir I had seen when very young on TV. I never forgot the name Larry Cravat. Also, this is one of the first film noirs I had seen, which I think was on the Early Show in the early 60's.

I just acquired the film recently and re=watched it. I was very touched about "Elizabeth" the woman Larry (George Taylor) visits for information. I gathered that he was friends with her father the nightwatchman who knew too much about the money (a goodly sum even today!) and where to get it. Also, that the watchman had been a witness to a murder connected with the robbery. Elizabeth had been very lonely and begged him to return and visit her after seeing her father in the hospital.

I am re=checking the part where George (Larry Cravat) finds out where the money is. At the time of last viewing, I really thought George had a partial amnesia which started lifting gradually when his life was in danger.
