Burl Ives songs?

Anyone have a list/titles of songs that Burl Ives sings in this film? Thankyou!

Here are all the songs in the movie sung by Burl Ives, in the order they appear. Many thanks to my dad for helping me identify a couple of them.

The Ballad of Smoky
The Streets of Laredo
I Wish I Was a Wooly-Wooly Bee
There Once was a Man Who Had an Old Mare (I think; he only sings part of it. This is the first part of the first verse)
Blue Tail Fly (Jimmy Crack Corn)
The Foggy, Foggy Dew
Down in the Valley
The Ballad of Smoky (reprise)

I caught this on TCM yesterday and recorded it, which is how I got the list, but since it was on TV it may not be complete. But that should get you started.

You should be able to get all of these on CD or as an MP3, since Burl Ives' records are available pretty widely.

Hope that helps! :)

Thank you & your dad so much! I recorded the movie too, but was up & down so much doing other stuff and not sure when I'd have a chance to watch and pay close attention. I looked to see if a soundtrack album but no luck, so thought maybe could find another album with them... thanx again!

If you recorded this on TCM, it is complete with no cuts. They don't cut them the way AMC does now... sigh!
I love this movie - when I was a kid, it used to run at least twice a year, and I always watched it on a black and white tv set. I didn't know it was shot in color for years...

Why do I never see this on TV any more?

Interesting: there was PC in 1946. My parents had 4 albums of Burl Ives 78s which included most of the songs in this movie. The lyrics to one began "Jimmy crack corn and I don't care, my massa's gone away." In the movie, that becomes "the old boss gone away."
