Connie Marshalls Triumph.

This picture is a true tear jerker and a gem of its time. The stars are John Payne and Maureen O'Hara but the credit goes to child star Connie Marshall who made four pictures alone in 1946 and put out a performance like this. This type of picture seen in a picture house on the big screen would have a lot more effect than it does today but is still a treasure. The story of a pretty little girl who get adopted by a couple with the mother dying on her had people rushing for their hankies. Hitty would be remembered for a long time afterwards. Solid Gold and a pity Connie had a short run in Hollywood.
