Similar Movie Recommendations?

My Grandmother, 81, hates technology. However she brought up this movie as one of her all-time favorites and she mentioned she checks TV listings all the time to see if it will ever be shown again. I thought this to be a great opportunity to buy her a dvd player and Sentimental Journey dvd as a Christmas gift.

However - I do not just want to get her one dvd. She passes a lot of her time watching movies & television. Is anyone able to recommend similar films for me that my Grandmother might enjoy? I'd be happy to consider other movies from the 40's, films with similar plot lines, or even films with the same actors.
