Monkey

I found the Capuchin monkey to be the most interesting part of this movie. That doesn't say much.

Coming from a cat, it's no wonder!

I'd be glad to pet her pussy if she would move that d@mn monkey, to paraphrase an infamous and apocryphal Johnny Carson quote.

Actually, that's a long time urban legend that never happened. In fact, Jane Fonda asked Johnny about it during the last year of the show and he said it never happened. The exchange is pretty funny. Here's a youtube link to the official Carson Classics channel on youtube that shows the clip. If the link doesn't work for some reason, just go to youtube and search: "jane fonda johnny carson" and a few will come up. But this is the official one and the best.

Thank you for the Youtube URL. Yes, I know the story is apocryphal and it goes back to when I was in high school, 1969 - 1973, attributed to a visit on the show by Zsa Zsa Gabor. But the story is iconic in my generation and just too much fun not to reference regardless of its reality, or lack thereof.

I agree with you. I was a year after you in school in Sacramento CA and the story waa well known there at that time. It's still a great story to tell, and I like it even better now that it ends with a viewing of the Fonda/Carson exchange.
