how is don pietro christ like?

He demonstrates these traits of a Christ character:
* first and foremost he is a martyr
* displays loving kindness and forgiveness
* fights for justice
* heals others spiritually

And the biggest one: he gives up his life to save others.

If he had talked he would not have been executed and others would have been rounded up and killed.

He says Oh, it's not difficult to die well. The difficult thing is to live right. This seems to me in the spirit JC and the New Testament.
