An American, a Russian, and an Englishman...

I saw a screening of Paisa a few years ago, and it was followed by a screening of another Italian war film in which the three above characters (soldiers behind enemy lines) were hidden in a woman's attic and were trying to escape. Any idea what film I'm talking about? Thanks.
