Deleted Scene?

This set of lobby cards (see link below) shows Alicia holding up a pricey bracelet, presumably a gift from a gentleman standing before her. It seems that she's rejecting it and him. Can anyone shed any light on this "deleted scene"? Thank you.

There was an early, deleted, scene which involved Alicia and a suitor who was played by an actor who was the male lover of Edward Everett Horton.Hitchcock decided instead to cut to the drunken party where Alicia meets Devlin,so the bracelet image is one of the few stills from the earlier, lost, scene. See the comment on the 'riding-club' scene.

Sorry I'm just thanking you now. Didn't have the "Reply Notification" set up.

I'm not questioning you, by any means, you obviously know what you're talking about, but I'm curious how you know this. Wherever you got your information, I'd love to get it too.

What a really cool find!!! I'm out of town at the moment but I own the DVD. I don't recall there being any deleted scenes, but that doesn't mean that there were not any. I love the information that dmjh64 provided on that. VERY COOL!!!
