So was Beatrice good or bad? She seemed bad at the beginning, and then she's good at the end? Did I miss something?

She turns to the good side when she finds out that her cronies are planning on ditching her and taking off with the treasure.

And so well portrayed by Lisette Verea...such a pity she didn't appear in more movies.

I'm the kind of guy, when I move - watch my smoke. But I'm gonna need some good clothes though.

She was sort of like a later version of Thelma Todd's characters from earlier Marx Brothers films.
