This is 'Peter Carter'

When Frank Reeves meets June and Peter at Lee Wood House he says to June don't you know this is Peter Carter, apparently a published poet . Nothing more is said about it. I find it strange that it's never mentioned again. Any thoughts?

Peter's acknowledged as a published poet but for most of the film they've got other things that they are more concerned about.

The sequel was going to be about Peter's life as a poet, after the war.
