When out heroes take tea at Lee Wood House it comes with a box of pastries. Were donuts know as shapers? And what does the director mean when he says "We're shaping Frank, we're shaping?

He means "We're shaping up". We're getting there

Thanks Steve! I'm watching a documentary about IKWIG right now! I haven't seen the movie yet but the prospect of seeing Riger Livesey on a kilt is intriguing!

Ah, but in IKWIG, sometimes when you see Torquil in a kilt, you aren't seeing Roger, you're seeing a skilfully filmed double 

The guy with the box of pastries refers to them as "sinkers"....an older term for doughnuts...
