Thanks for the heads up! I check the TCM Schedule monthly. When I see I movie that I want to watch, I request that TCM send me a reminder so I can set my DVR and/or watch it as it airs.
Believe me I set my DVR for Margie and watched it...again!
I enjoy it each time! One observation, at the beginning of the movie, Margie and her daughter were looking through her scrapbook. Margie was making comments about fads that were popular among college students at the time. Unsure if she graduated from college, though. I can imagine that, she and Mr. Fontayne began to date after the night at the Prom since he did bring her home if she were a high school senior at the time.
However, if she were a high school junior at the time, keeping his attraction to her a secret would have been a real challenge.
The movie was unclear as to when they actually began to date, eventually marry and begin their family. Great movie!
I imagine she was a senior. Her Grandma asked Roy his age. He said 17 going on 18. That most likely means he's a senior and Margie most likely is too. Mr. Fontayne probably waited until after Graduation, though, at least to publicly date her.
