'The Locket' at Castro Theater in SF on Sunday, July 24

Hi, the original screenplay was written by Norma Barzman, married to blacklisted writer Ben Barzman. Norma appeared in person at the Castro Theater on July 24 and turned 85 a couple of months later. She sold the screenplay to Hume Cronyn, who planned to direct it with his wife Jessica Tandy starring. Then Cronyn sold the screenplay to RKO, and RKO assigned Sheridan Gibney to rewrite it. The original script is supposedly in the Cronyn/Tandy collection at the Library of Congress.
