good film,thank you BBC

Saw this afternoon on the BBC,it was a good film and one I do not recall seeing before.
Often I feel that I have seen all the good films shown on tv but I was wrong about this one.
I watched it because I am a Robert Mitchum fan,but the satr of the film was Laraine Day.
She was so pretty and so well dressed in this film, and she acyed so well that I did not doubt that men would ignore her little faults to be close to her.
The acting and the plot were all of high quality and the plot was interesting to say the least.
This was not a film where you could guess the end.
I will look out for more films by the director and more films starring Laraine Day.
If anybody from BBC,Channel 4 ,TCM or SKY are reading this can you please show THE BIG LIFT,DECISION AT DAWN or how about THE LOST VALLEY?

UK TV viewers who may like this, Movies4Men channel 48 have just shown this. So look for it again on there. Creepy vintage noir, with some good English scenes.

I saw the movie years ago as a late, late movie in the 90's. I never knew the title, but it was good.
