at first the owner tells the killers that they can't have anything from the dinner menu until 6:00... but then he states that it's past 6:00 and that's how he knows the swede will not be coming in.

secondly, how on earth did the charles mcgraw character tie-up two men so thoroughly in 30 seconds or less?
