What is the BEST Jolson Biography?

I want to buy a good, honest, accurate book about Al Jolson's life. Anybody recommend the best one? I have been told that the book JOLSON, THE LEGEND COMES TO LIE, is the most accurate. So what do all youse lot think?

I know this is an old thread but that is by far the best book about Jolson.

Stick with Goldmans, "THE LEGEND COMES TO LIFE." Honestly the others are junk.

I agree that Herb Goldman's book is the best. But I don't consider the others junk, and it wouldn't hurt to read them also.
