shareWas going "Swell"(to use one of that era's..mine,too..great terms) till the length diatribe..Today's HOUSE OF GUCCI,for one is around as long LOL!
share"Too Dated: Foggy-Like Cinematography"
then turn off those horrible HD TV muck with the picture options. Film has very high definition, because it is still analog.
2 Too Dated: At Moments, Depressing And Sad
What the international fk does that mean??????????????
LOL. Indeed.
Let's also add: "Still Holds Up: Black and White Movie." I literally don't know what that means.
The article is nonsense. As someone stated earlier, it seems like the work of a student, not an employed writer.
It also has factual errors, such as: "The movie industry was producing only black and white movies until the early '50s." I guess this person never saw Wizard of Oz or Gone With the Wind.
Click Bait
share"Dated" is always a stupid criticism. The movie was made in 1947, so it looks like 1947 and people talk like 1947. That's what I expect when I watch a movie from 1947. Do people expect it to look and sound like a 21st century movie, and then get disappointed when it doesn't?
shareOkay, obviously the title of the article was written first and then the author is forced to contrive crud to fit the billing.
My second point would be "hownos" is the author of the article and is just posting it here to boost poor click count.
Nonsensical article which doesn't hold up.
