Ladies, would you rather be married to George or Harry?

What do you think?
I would probably pick George, but I don't know too much about Harry..so I don't rule him out..

reply

Not a lady, but I'd guess a large percentage of females would choose Sam Wainwright over both. He had $ and seemed like a he was a load of fun to be around.

So you see most women as superficial gold diggers? Thanks... I would have picked Harry, handsome, honorable, and a hero. George was handsome too and a good guy but he had a short fuse and a bit of a temper. I would never have considered ol' Hee Haw.

reply

A large percentage? I think you are way off on this. There wasn't anything attractive about Sam Wainright from my perspective. He had a lot of money but so what? I hope you really don't feel this way .

reply

I'm a guy, so take the post for what it's worth, but Harry bothers me....can you trust him? He gave George the royal shaft on that whole "wait four years, then I'll take over the business" deal. Old Man Bailey apparently didn't bother teaching his sons about the concept of keeping their word.

If you want someone to pull the rug out from under you, I have the perfect candidate:

Harry Bailey!

wt1963 I agree. I wouldn't choose Harry for that reason. He really did screw over George. And I'm guessing he never paid George back for his college education, either.

reply

He didn't screw George over. Harry said that Ruth spoke out of turn, that he never said he'd take the job. You can see by the look on George's face that he's putting Harry's well being over his own. Most likely George is the one who talked Harry into actually taking the job. George always put others first... Hmm, maybe I would choose him after all.

reply

Completely agree wt1963. Harry was an opertunistic punk. Took George's college money and went off to get an education. Got married to some rich hottie and didn't bother telling the family until he came back to BF saying "Here's the new wife, her daddy offered me a job (I'll stay if you want George but please don't make me)". That move condemned George to staying at the Building and Loan and Bedford Falls forever. Screw you Harry!

I think some woman would even choose Potter over George and Harry. Frankly I'm surprised that harlot Violet wasn't making attempts at him. Here's a guy who looks like he's just a few years away from the grave, paralyzed from the waist down so he's probably got ED and they wouldn't have to have relations with him. It'd be like winning the lottery.

reply

Except even if he was married he still wouldn't leave his wife his money. He loved his money so much he probably would have it in his will for it all to be buried with him!

reply

they'd marry the one with the most money
