I caught most of the Sven House Of Horrors and found it highly entertaining; well made for such a modestly budgeted film, featuring some good to excellent performances (Martin Kosleck rules in this one) and some very sexy 40s babes, sexy even by today's standards. I'd rate it higher but for the exploitation of the acromegaly afflicted Rondo Hatton, which left a bad taste, and which was bad taste. On the other hand, it's not like some studio chief injected him with venom that made him that way. I'm guessing that he earned a better living in Hollywood than he would have otherwise once the acromegaly kicked in. It's a terrible disease, has always been rare, and far less common today than a hundred years. Modern medicine was still in its infancy, and our morals weren't much more mature, thus people with deformities, often called freaks, were used in side shows and theaters, sometimes in the movies. It was a different time.
