All copies available for sale are illegal bootlegs

As of this date HOME SWEET HOMICIDE has never had a legit video release on VHS or DVD or anything.

It's a 20th Century-Fox film likely sitting in the Fox vault. Probably never released b/c Fox is clueless. Second guess - copyright issues with the estate of the author, Craig Rice.

Last time I saw it was on the old USA channel maybe 15 - 20 years ago and that is where my copy is from. It had commercials in it, sadly.

Some witch on Amazon was selling copies for 30 bucks each! Considering that she stole it, that's a lot. Another outfit was asking more than 100 per copy. All crooks.

I hope a legit release happens some day. I'd like to upgrade my own copy, too.

I've been in the video business since 1985 and I have never ever seen HOME SWEET HOMICIDE available from legitimate PD video vendors.

Copyrighted film.

Any film that has never been officially released on dvd is considered public domain.

You do not know what you're talking about. Public domain movies have all been released on home media, for the simple reason, that you can't grasp, that no one holds a copyright on them. Given your remarks on this thread, you're not only stupid, but rude.
