Saw it this afternoon on TV in full for 1st time and was astounded by it's brilliance not just Dickins' story but Lean & Co. 's work....surely an arguable placce in the top 10 ?

PS I saw the popular Top Ten no. 1 favorite The Shawshank Redemption when it first came out in UK cinemas (interesting poster and tagline-see they do work!), liked it a lot but on the whole ...hmmmm...I like this better

Same here...should definently be in the top ten.

Im praying for rain in california so the grapes can grow and they can make more wine.
