When can we expect a blu-ray?

Italy already has this out on blu-ray on a 'region-free' disc. I bought it about 8 months ago. It's an authentic Colombia release which sports a great transfer and removable subtitles. You can pick it up on Amazon and Amazon.uk. As for a U.S. Release, nothing has been scheduled as of now.

Criterion recently released a gorgeous Blu-Ray edition of Gilda.
