shareI happened to have recorded this movie when it came on last night, so I rewound that scene. I don't think it was Esther Williams, because when we see her at the top of the slide, the shot changes when she actually starts the slide down, and changes again after she hits the water. There's no way to be sure - I wouldn't put this stunt past Esther Williams, but I think it was a stunt double. Don't you love these old movies?
