This movie is

of its time, so it's kinda pointless to slate it by today's viewing standards.
The cinematography is spectacular and its 'racy' story had been censored to bits but unless you are a fan of Selznick , Gregory Peck , Joseph Cotton and Jennifer Jones... don't waste your time.
I loved it because she is one of my favourite actresses and I LOVED how she did this after playing St Bernadette so tenderly.
Most of Selznick's pictures were a love letter to her and her beauty.
That suits me just fine
