It was never explained why Lewt was blowing up trains. Was he trying to steal the merchandise or was he just a crazed lunatic?
He says right before he derails the train that he's helping out his father. He knows his father hates the railroad, so Lewt wants to help stop the railroad. I thought it was pretty clear in the film. share
