It's wrong about....

In the first film Bela Lugosi put this lotion on his intended victims and then purposely let his bats out of their lair to attack. The lotion attracted the bats and that is why they attacked. In this film Ted states that Lugosi was not a murderer and that his bats escaped. I'm just wondering if the people that made this sequel knew that or maybe they were hoping no one would remember.
