...was based on trusting the reborn convict to make a true map of the buried $400k.
Um - Duh. I think that was pretty weak.

Also, it was pretty dumb to kill the hearse/coroner driver. If they just gave him a cadaver to replace the executed body - the cops wouldn't even have known.

Well, reviving the dude was the only shot they had at getting their hands to the money - and they're certainly greedy enough to try. It's the notion of reviving itself that's the one true absurdity we're presented with.

If he had actually been dead, they couldn't have revived him. The crooked doctor in charge at the execution managed to stop the procedure while the victim was unconscious but still alive, then he lied, declaring him dead. They got him to the clinic and administered the antidote, which brought him back to consciousness.

That and many other absurdities, just my opinion but this is no classic, and wasn't even average.
