From 39's STAGECOACH to CRACK-UP in 46
Claire Trevor still looks great.
Trevor was one of the most underrated in looks and talent.Always a pleasure to catch one of her films...

I think she was an intriguing actress, but Terry is just a nothing part. She is supposed to be his girlfriend and a magazine writer, yet inexplicably is also seemingly working with Traybin of the Yard and yet doesn't come clean with this information until well into the movie, though she is convinced of Steele's innocence. Like many aspects of this film, it just doesn't ring true.🐭

She is so good in these type of 1940s noir. I like her in 'Key Largo' most of all. The only disappointing performance that I have seen from her is in a 1950s western. I've forgotten the title. But she didn't seem interested in the film. Although I couldn't blame her. It was a poor story. She was more at home in this 'Crack-up.'
