My favorite version of these two historical souls

As a huge fan of both ancient Rome and ancient Egypt I have to admit that Vivien Leigh's Cleopatra is my favorite portrayal of the dramatic queen, same with Claude Rains' portrayal of Cesear which is perhaps the freshest and least dull of them all. I imagine that Rains' portrayal is very close to the real thing. Cesear was a bi-sexual and Rains plays his flamboyancy very well. I absolutely love this movie and it is by far the best of all the Cesear and Cleopatra movies.

Rains is royalty of the screen, a perfect fit to play one of the most famous emperors of all time.

Also the script is fantastic.
