''heartbreak'' song

Hello,
Does anyone know who is singing this song?
This song is performed at the beginning of the movie (scene 4 on the dvd)
when K. bennett find the body of Marvis. This is such a great melody.
The composers are Edgar fairchild and J. Brooks, but i don't the name
of the artist.

According to my copy of "Film Noir: an Encyclopedic Reference to the American Style, 3rd. ed." the song is sung by June Vincent.
