460 Lavern Terrace
I just love this little house. I can't believe it would be found in L.A., but maybe so in '46. Does anyone know anything about it. It is on a lot?
shareThe dvd special feature "The Big Sleep Comparisons 1945/1946" states that Howard Hawks saved money by shooting the film entirely on Warner Brothers' sound stages and backlots. The filming locations section on the IMDb main page agrees with this. So 460 Lavern Terrace and the surrounding neighborhood seen was just an eloborate set.
