not so bad


This movie is not so bad as the description and the voting suggests. The way the story unfolds may be a bit old-fashioned, Peter Lorre's play is timeless. Seeing and hearing Peter Lorre exclamate 'the hand, the hand, it's the hand' is by itself alone worth watching the movie.

quite right buzink ! that scene had me in stitches i must say. this generally isnt my sort of film but i watched it cuz peter lorre was in it. he did a brilliant job as always

For me, the only reason to watch the movie is Lorre with the hand. The rest of it is flat and slow. I rated it a "5". Without Lorre it would be a zero.
