I'm fairly sure that even if you don't feel pain at the time, having a knitting needle stuck through your hand so it comes out the other side during hypnosis would do a fair bit of harm that you might waken up to later in the day.
sharein actuality many cases have been reported of people doing just such an act under hypnosis and not having pain later and in some cases not even able to find the point of entry of whatever was used ie knitting needle, knife etc this may be hard to believe but all it takes is a little googling to see this is not the weirdest trick that hypnosis can achieve
