Everyone Here

seems to have forgotten one of director Arliss's other period pieces beautifully titled "Idol of Paris". No one seems to know that he both loved and wallowed in period wardrobes. He wasn't a great filmic genius, but then few were or are. Even so, he had his quirks as a few of you have come to see. The moonlight blows through the skirts of many of his heroines. Madness exactly, but so richly rewarding.

Whole sight; or all the rest is desolation.
