B-17's

I just watched the film (not the first time i've seen it) and I noticed that during the 'August 17th' part (first daylight raid) Hollis's crew get into a
B-17G. And later in the film there's a shot of a B-17 landing, and its in reverse (the tail letter is backwards).
Anyone noticed these or other shots.

I love this film!
