A BEAUTIFUL AND TOUCHING FILM,LOVE BETWEEN PEOPLE AND NATIONS.

I am always touched when I watch this film.
It has 2 love stories in it,several love stories between men and women but also a tribute to the close relations between Britain and the USA,forged in wartime.

Another film that is sort of about American-British relations is A MATTER OF LIFE AND DEATH.

I get annoyed when British or American people forget or deny the relationships between our 2 nations (I am British).

We can overstate the connections of course but as a student of history who is old enough to have had parents who took part in world war 2 I am glad of the good relations between or 2 nations.
