Real life is a soap opera, too, not a well written drama. E.g., how do you explain us Yanks electing Donald Trump? Can you imagine FDR twittering during WWII?

Trump aside ... the film just had to much soap for my liking. So much soap that it made the film hard to watch ... much like out recent election.
