Remake of 'Two in the Dark (1936)

I turned in because after reading the plot off my television guide I knew I'd seen this before. But while watching it right off I knew Ann Rutherford & Tom Conway didn't play the leads in the film I'd seen before. Just read on wiki that's this is a remake of the 1936 film 'Two in the Dark'. This film is a little more light-hearted than the other. That one kind of tugged at the heart strings at the end when the murderer is revealed. I do like both versions.
