Three things about this movie

1) During the final chorus of "Grand Night for Singing" when Dick Haymes is singing, there is a guy dancing behind Vivian Blaine who is making goofy faces whenever he's facing the camera.
2) There is an extra that I noticed in a couple of scenes who looks like Betty Jaynes (she played Mickey Ronney's sister in "Babes In Arms"). I noticed her standing behind Vivian Blaine and Dick Haymes during "Isn't It Kinda Fun?", and also briefly towards the end of "All I Owe Ioway." Probably not her, but there is a striking resemblence.
3) Did Abel Frake really win the bet? Wayne had his heart broken at the fair. Seems to me that should count in Dave Miller's favor. Funny how the screenwriters just glossed right over that.

To answer your no. 1 question - the guy making goofy faces is Charles Saggau, who also appeared in a hilarious jitterbug scene in "The Gang's All Here". He is also in the last carriage of the rollercoaster, throwing his hat in the air!

3. Yeh, but his heartbreak made him realize that he really did love Eleanor, so I guess it worked out for him. (Well, I assume that, anyway.)
